Meet Dr. Wendy

As an Osteopathic physician, Dr. Wendy embraces the belief that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself. This belief inspired her to create a comprehensive treatment plan for her patients which incorporates elements of medication, nutrition, exercise, psychology and self-evaluation. Dr. Wendy graduated from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and completed her premedical sciences degree from New York University. She went on to complete her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and did her Psychiatric Residency at the Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan where she remains on staff as a Voluntary Attending Psychiatrist. She is currently certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association, New York State Psychiatric Association and the NY Country District Branch. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. Additionally, Dr. Wendy is a member of IAEDP (International Association of Eating Disorders Professions), the Association of Women Psychiatrists and the Women’s Mental Health Consortium. Shortly after completing her training Dr. Wendy set up her own private practice in Midtown Manhattan.
